#machdichlaut - Campaign gives victims of domestic violence a voice

Humiliated, beaten, hurt and silenced... Often, topics such as sexualized and domestic violence are taboo in society and those affected are usually powerless. Currently, however, the topic is present in the media as never before. The short film "Männerwelten" (Men's Worlds) by Joko and Klaas, broadcast on ProSieben, raises awareness of the taboo subject of sexual harassment together with celebrities such as Palina Rojinski and Stefanie Giesinger. On YouTube, the short film now has over 4 million views (as of 06/14/20).

Under the motto "Silence makes you defenseless, make yourself heard", the Weisse Ring e.V. has also launched a campaign in cooperation with prominent women such as actress Katy Karrenbauer or TV presenter Marlene Lufen to encourage affected women to break their silence and seek help from the Weisse Ring.

We also support the work of Weissen Ring e.V. with our social media marketing campaign against domestic violence. The focus is on animated ads with a clear call-to-action, which were designed and implemented by dot-gruppe as part of a larger campaign architecture with several dozen ad variations. After just a few weeks of active campaign runtime, the campaign reached over 1.5 million users in the narrow target group environment and generated excellent engagement values: the Facebook page has seen a continuous increase in "likes" since the campaign launch. The campaign posts were shared, commented on and rated over 1000 times.
