"Peace at last" - with this claim, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourism Association shows what the destination has to offer in five short and amusing video clips. Fits well, we think - in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern all roads lead somehow directly to rest and relaxation!
The five-part video series, which is presented exclusively online, is set in one tourist region of the state - the Mecklenburg Lake District, Schwerin and Rostock as well as in historic Ahrenshoop and Binz.
Video marketing with celebrity support
Lightly humorous and charming throughout, the image films perfectly showcase Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as a vacation destination, prominently supported by actors Anneke Kim Sarnau, Hinnerk Schönemann and Olaf Schubert.
In mid-January, the "Finally Calm" campaign was launched, with the goal of reaching one million views within the first 6 months. This is where we come in. After a successful pitch, dot-gruppe is responsible for the strategic video campaigning of the campaign and, in addition to conceptual and strategic consulting, takes over the individualized playout of the campaign videos - both on the MV channels and via our established network of influential influencers.
Marketing concept with vision
In order to reach as many (potential) interested parties as possible for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as a travel destination, a detailed marketing concept was created. The linchpin here is the image films of the "Endlich Ruhe" campaign.
In parallel, comprehensive channel optimizations of the YouTube channel "Auf nach MV" are underway:

In order to sustainably increase awareness of the destination, we also plan to publish additional video content on a weekly basis.
MV - German partner country for the first time at ITB 2018
In view of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's central role as the partner state of the International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin, the campaign films were also dubbed into English and presented to the worldwide trade and private visitors.
But at the ITB there was no sign of "calm". Attention, award... applause. The image films of the "Endlich Ruhe" campaign received the first prize at the multimedia tourism award "Goldenes Stadttor".
