in 1987 ZEHA Berlin was founded in Thuringia as a traditional leather shoe factory under Carl Häßner, but fell into oblivion after the division of Germany. In 1980, Alexander Barre and Torstein Heine liberated the brand from the dust of yesteryear, and rediscovered the brand and redesigned the cult shoes.
