Etat Profit: German Tourism Center

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the reunification, dot-gruppe will undertake YouTube positioning and seeding for the German Tourism Center in order to increase tourist’s interests in Germany. Dot-gruppe won the bid in the competitive environment and executed their seeding strategy in the USA, UK, Australia, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Canada, and other European countries.

Dot-gruppe’s seeding strategy and seeding network impressed over 15,000 publishers. Dot-gruppe is able to campaign in 8 different language areas thanks to their extensive network.

It is widely known that Germans like to travel. But this project puts Germany as a central travel destination itself, with particular focus on regions that have been revived and enriched since reunification. Dot-gruppe was commissioned to seed YouTube videos about Rügen, Hamburg, Spreewald, and the Frauenkirche, making them the ideal partner to publicize the video outside of Germany.

Bloggers were involved in the concept of video creation. The video inspires a rediscovery of Germany, with beautiful photographs, soothing sounds, and shows breathtaking cliffs, the charming port of Hamburg, and the idyllic river landscape of the Spreewald.

The campaign found even more perspective in Germany with the hashtag #germany25reunified, encouraging visitors and locals to experience it on a daily basis.
